This is the first part of Level l American Sign Language (ASL) course using a conversational method following the Signing Naturally Curriculum. Through model dialogues with the instructor and other students, games, exercises and home study, students learn to ask and answer questions, talk about surroundings, tell where they live, talk about their family and tell about activities. Participants must be able to use their arms and hands for communication. Contact the bookstore at 475-6225 to purchase the required textbook. Learn MoreThis course will provide French opportunities for students to accumulate a vocabulary bank that is transferable to multitude of situations and locations. Learning the basic level of French speaking, learning key sentences that can be easily built weekly for a duration of ----- weeks. This course, through music, video and games will demonstrate French language usage in multi faceted ways. Pronunciation and enunciation will be practiced naturally throughout the entire class (participation-based learning). This course will afford opportunities for parents with children in the French speaking school system to communicate as well as people wanting to be able to communicate in French while travelling or for work purposes.
