Through a combination of instruction and practical application, students examine unemployment, inflation and economic growth, as well as evaluate government use of fiscal and monetary policy in dealing with these key macroeconomic issues. In addition, Canada's international economic relationships are explored. Individual assignments and formal examinations are used to assess student knowledge of key objectives. This course includes mandatory group work.
