To be admitted to postsecondary programs, you need one of the following:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
General Educational Development (GED)
Successful completion of a Mature Student Assessment
Appropriate credits from the Academic and Career Entrance program (ACE)
For non-postsecondary programs, you need one of the following:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
Being 19 years of age or older, or approval from a Program Officer
Yes, some courses and programs have prerequisites:

What happens if a course is cancelled?
Confederation College reserves the right to cancel or adjust start dates with short notice. Full refunds will be issued for courses cancelled by the College.
How will I be notified of a course cancellation?
We will attempt to contact you by email in advance of a cancellation. However, we cannot assume responsibility for any expenses incurred if you arrive for a class that has been cancelled or rescheduled.

What is the refund policy for withdrawals?
To be eligible for a full refund, you must withdraw at least 14 days before the first class. A $20.00 administration fee per course will be withheld if withdrawing 1–14 days prior to the deadline. No refunds are issued for withdrawals submitted after the deadline, regardless of attendance.
How are refunds processed?
Refunds are issued by cheque if the original payment was made in person, online, or by your employer or sponsoring agency. Please allow a minimum of four weeks for processing.
