In this exciting hands-on camp, participants will explore the world of electricity by building circuits, soldering electronic components, wiring lights and switches, and experimenting with sensors.
Using real training equipment from Confederation College’s electrical and automation labs, students will discover how electricity powers homes, electronics, and modern machines. Each participant will build their own electronic project to take home and will test the circuits they create throughout the week.
Along the way, students will also get a glimpse into careers in electrical trades, electronics, and automation technology. No experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to build.

Diagnose, repair, and maintain all sorts of equipment, like lawn mowers and trimmers. Discover how engines work, from carburetion to ignition systems, and get the chance to complete minor repairs and regular maintenance.
Throughout the workshop, you'll get plenty of practical work time with real equipment. Demonstrations will help you to troubleshoot and fix common issues. Plus, you'll learn the ins and outs of both two- and four-cycle engines.
