Thunder Bay
Spark Lab: Build, Wire, and Control Electricity

Have you ever wondered how lights turn on, how machines work, or how electronics power the technology we use every day? In this exciting hands-on camp, participants will explore the world of electricity by building circuits, soldering electronic components, wiring lights and switches, and experimenting with sensors.

Using real training equipment from Confederation College’s electrical and automation labs, students will discover how electricity powers homes, electronics, and modern machines. Each participant will build their own electronic project to take home and will test the circuits they create throughout the week.

Along the way, students will also get a glimpse into careers in electrical trades, electronics, and automation technology. No experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to build.
