AI Simplified

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming part of everyday life, but for many people it can still feel confusing, intimidating, or difficult to keep up with. AI Simplified is a hands-on, beginner-friendly course designed to demystify today’s AI tools and show participants how to use them practically, ethically, and confidently. Participants will explore tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other popular AI platforms, learning how to work with AI rather than simply handing work over to it. Through live demonstrations, guided practice, and group discussion, students will see how AI can help with writing, research, planning, organizing ideas, learning new subjects, and solving everyday problems. We’ll also look beyond basic chatbots at newer capabilities such as voice, images, web research, and AI systems that can carry out more complex, multi-step tasks. No technical background is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a smartphone or laptop for hands-on activities. Throughout the course, we’ll be emphasizing critical thinking, privacy, verification, and responsible use so participants leave with useful skills, realistic expectations, and the confidence to continue exploring AI on their own.
