Program Intakes

Program Overview

This program provides students with solid training, knowledge and skills in the required practices of occupational health and safety. A management component is included, in addition to the fundamentals, for you to gain knowledge in administering a workplace safety program and offer solutions.

Admission Requirements

Program Requirements (for domestic students)

  1. 19 years of age or older or

  2. Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (U/C), or Open (O) preparation levels

    with Grade 12 English (E/C/U) Level.

  3. or successful completion of the Mature Student Assessment.

  4. or successful completion of the General Education Development Test (GED).

  5. or appropriate credits from the Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) program - LBS level 5 Communications and LBS level 4 Mathematics.

You must also provide proof of a valid Standard First Aid and Basic Rescuer CPR to obtain this certificate.
